This model I learnt the basic rule of how
to make an effective PowerPoint slide. I have to say I used PowerPoint a lot,
and I was so glad those criteria because I could follow rules easier, but I got
problem soon. I collect a lot of design elements, such as vector diagram,
little gif, and lace trimming. This is my hobby, and I enjoy that. When I made
a PowerPoint, I love to use those cute little images to decorate slides, but I
realized soon I need to keep slides simple, which means no superfluous
ornament, no rainbow, a few of words, it really challenged my normal style. I
have to say few text without unnecessary decoration make slides sharp, elegant
and refined, but I think add some image and color will have better visual
effects.
Thus, I start to consider, should I give up
the elaborate design of PowerPoint to make it simple? Is it simplicity on whose
view? I study art education, not education. I am not only a teacher, but also
am artist. When I interpret my presentation of one thing, I hope to express my
aesthetics, too. Dose complex design against simplicity? What is the effective
PowerPoint? Dose the rules against each other? At the last, I tried to keep the
elements on the same rhythm and theme in my slides to achieve simplicity. I hope
that works.
Also, this week discussed a sensitive
issue: copyright. I always keep neutral before because plagiarism is so common,
and a lot of authors or drawers have been plagiarized or plagiarized others. It
seems everyone allow tacitly if no profit is made, using someone's idea without
their permission is not a form of stealing. This events have been happened a
lot in China, and plagiarist refused to admit that. Thus, I resolutely support
reorganization without permission is copyright. There is something wrong in the
root, and this behavior should be stop. End any excuse for illegal plagiarism,
respect and cite the original work.

I really like your PowerPoint presentation. The design elements you used were thoughtful and appealing.
